Is anger getting you in trouble or making trouble in a loved one's life? There are many things that make people angry, but how we handle the anger is the important thing. Through techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, we can help you or your love one get less angry and help to manage anger better.
Anger can be caused by many things. It could be from life stress, having had to be on the defense most of your life, reactions to trauma, or having a hard time controlling impulses and negative attitudes. We'll identify your triggers, find out what is behind those triggers, and evaluate and change the thoughts that are leading to feelings of anger. We'll also work on ways to manage emotional reactions and control impulses to react to anger. We'll help you change from being reactive to responsive.
